Old age
Acute alcohol intoxication
Hypothermia/Hyperthermia
Hypercalcemia
Hypermagnesemia
Hyponatremia.
Anaemia
Hypoxia p02<40
Hypercarbia pCO2 >95
Pregnancy
Drugs:
Local aneasthetics except Cocaine
Opioids
Ketamine
Barbiturates
Benzodiazepines
Verapamil
Lithium
Sympatholytics.
Chronic amphetamine use.
Increased MAC is needed in :
Young age
Chronic alcohol intoxication
Hypernatremia
Acute amphetamine intake
Cocaine
Ephedrine.
